Carpet Cleaning
Dirt, stains and wear make carpets look old before their time. Love Your Carpet deep cleans carpets and rugs for homes and businesses across Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, and has done since 1996.
What a Carpet Cleaning Visit Involves
Love Your Carpet has cleaned carpets across the Las Vegas Valley since 1996. It holds a 5.0 rating from more than 540 Google reviews. Here’s what happens when the technicians arrive, so there are no surprises on the day.
1. Look at the rooms together
A technician walks the rooms with you, explains what the cleaning will involve, and asks about the spots that matter to you.
2. Pre-treat the problem areas
Traffic lanes, spots and pet areas are pre-treated first, so the solution has time to work before anything gets wet.
3. Hot water extraction
Hot water and solution go in under pressure and come straight back out with the dirt, which is how the grit sitting at the base of the fibers comes up.
4. Check it before they go
Anything that still looks wrong is worth pointing out before the technician leaves.
Hot water extraction is the method Love Your Carpet uses on carpet, and the one carpet manufacturers generally specify in their own care instructions. More on how hot water extraction works.
What Gets Cleaned
- Whole-home carpet, room by room, including bedrooms and living areas.
- Stairs and traffic lanes, the parts that gray out first.
- Area rugs, laid over tile, wood or carpet.
- Pet spots, treated below the surface rather than masked.
- Offices and commercial floors, for businesses as well as homes.
Not sure whether a cleaning will fix what you are looking at? Describe it when you call.
Pet urine, treated below the surface
Love Your Carpet finds exactly where the smell is, applies enzymes to that area, and uses a tool that extracts from the subfloor up. The odor lives in the backing and the pad, not in the fibers you can see, which is why cleaning the surface alone tends to bring it back.
Coffee, cola and the red ones
For coffee and cola, a stain remover goes on and is left to work. Red stains come out with a process called heat transfer. Both answers are posted on the company’s Google listing.
Also on the van
Upholstery cleaning for sofas and chairs, tile and grout cleaning, and flood and water damage restoration. Ask when you call, and Love Your Carpet will say what fits into the same visit.

Why Las Vegas Carpets Need It More Often
Desert Dust
Fine grit blows across the valley and comes in on shoes and paws. It settles at the base of the fibers, below where a vacuum reaches, and wears the pile as people walk on it.
Dry Air
Very low humidity helps moisture leave the carpet after a cleaning. What it cannot do is rinse out soap left behind by an under-powered machine, and that residue pulls the dust straight back in.
Monsoon Storms
Late-summer storms push water under doors and through roof leaks. It soaks the pad, which holds it long after the surface feels dry, and that becomes a water damage job rather than a routine cleaning.

Before the Technicians Arrive
Nothing elaborate is needed, but a few minutes of tidying makes the visit quicker:
- Clear the floor of anything you would rather move yourself.
- Pick up cables and anything a hose could catch on.
- Vacuum if you have time, especially where pet hair has built up.
- Point out the spots that matter to you, including any a previous cleaner left behind.
- Decide where the pets will go during the visit.
What to have ready when you call
Every home is different, so the more of this you can describe, the better the answer you get:
- How many rooms, and whether there are stairs.
- The condition of the carpet, and how long since it was last cleaned.
- Pet spots, and how far they have soaked in.
- Anything added to the same visit, such as upholstery, rugs or tile.
- Any furniture you would like moved.
Then call and ask for a quote.
Carpet Cleaning Questions
How much does carpet cleaning cost in Las Vegas?
Love Your Carpet doesn’t publish prices. Call (702) 898-6070, describe the rooms, the stairs and anything else you’d like cleaned, and ask for a quote.
How often should carpet be cleaned in Las Vegas?
Sooner here than in most places, because of the desert grit. Homes with pets, children or heavy traffic need it sooner again than a quiet household does. Ask the technician what your carpet’s condition suggests.
Can you get same-day carpet cleaning?
Sometimes. It depends on that day’s schedule, so call as early as you can and ask.
Do I need to move the furniture first?
Only the small things. Clear what you can easily lift, such as lamps, plants and anything breakable, then mention the larger pieces when you book and ask whether they need moving.
Can you get old pet stains out?
Often, yes. The technicians locate the spot, apply enzymes and extract from the subfloor up. The limit is the pad underneath: once urine has soaked all the way through it, a cleaning will not take the smell out for good.
Do you clean offices and commercial carpet?
Yes, offices as well as homes. Describe the space and the hours that suit the business when you call.
