• Once you have got as much wine out of the carpet as possible, pour club soda over the stain.
• Use a separate cloth to blot the stain again.

Remove Stain With Dish Soap & White Vinegar

The mixture of dishwashing soap and vinegar also effectively removes wine stains from the carpet. Follow these steps to remove the stain:

• Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with an equal quantity of white vinegar. Add two cups of warm water and mix well.

Remove Wine Stain With Hydrogen Peroxide

• Mix 1 part water with 3 parts baking soda to make a paste. The paste should be reasonably thick.

• Allow the paste to sit for about 20 minutes.
• Once it dries, vacuum the baking soda from the carpet.

Use White wine

White wine helps remove the pigment in red wine. If your carpet is stained with red wine, pour some white wine over it. Don’t pour too much wine. Just enough to cover the stain.

• Blot until the red wine stain fades away.
• If the stain is stubborn, add salt or baking soda on top of white wine.
• Let it sit for 5 minutes. Continue blotting until the stain is gone.
• Vacuum up salt or baking soda once the stain is gone.
• Finish by blotting the spot with a cloth soaked in a mixture of dish soap and water.
• Use a clean cloth to dab the spot.
